Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are easily some of the most anticipated games of the fall, with fans now able to say they release «next month.» November 18 will be here before fans know it, especially those involved in the numerous video game releases of October.
There are a lot of questions still to be answered about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet though. While details about the three storylines come out, less than 20 new Pokemon have been officially revealed. Fans who prefer to think of their team ahead of time have very few options as it stands, and that's complicated when factoring in the various rumors about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Paradox Pokemon. Game Freak will eventually, hopefully, address these questions, but one fan noticed an odd detail that posed a big question.

Redditor Educational_Cup4269 recently pointed out that the German version of Pokemon Scarlet uses «Karmesin» for the subtitle instead of «Scharlach.» The former translates to Crimson, while the latter translates to Scarlet. So, in other words, Germany is getting Pokemon Crimson andViolet instead of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It's clearly an important decision but one that does seem rather mind-boggling at first; however, Redditor Eggxcalibur quickly pointed out that Scharlach is primarily used for Scarlet Fever. This makes perfect sense because, in Germany,Pokkenis called Pokemon Tekken becausePokken sounds a lot like Pocken, which means Small Pox.
It should be noted that, in English, the color Scarlet isn't going to bring Scarlet Fever to mind immediately. Scharlach, however, can mean just Scarlet, but it's more likely to bring Scarlet Fever to mind in terms of usage. The long and short of it
