For longtime fans of the series, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is something to certainly get excited about, but so far, not much information has been publicly revealed. While the newest installment in the Xenoblade Chronicles series launches later this year, the finer details of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's content have been kept rather close to the chest. That appears to be changing as it seems Nintendo now has more to showcase in terms of the upcoming game.
Earlier this year, Nintendo officially revealed Xenoblade Chronicles 3 via an announcement trailer, and the video itself showed off quite a bit. From familiar character designs to the large, sweeping landscapes that Xenoblade Chronicles is known for, the third installment will likely have a lot going for it. In terms of active gameplay, the trailer didn't show that much, but as of today, fans will have a much better idea of what combat will look like in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Nintendo Showcases Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Characters
A new press release from Nintendo revealed several new details regarding combat in Xenoblade Chronicles3. As seen in the announcement trailer, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will have up to seven playable characters during active combat, with each one having their own individual class that can be customized later in the game. Not to mention the new Interlink system, which causes tag team pairs to transform into a gigantic creature called Ouroboros, which appear to be similar to the Skells in Xenoblade Chronicles X.
