The limited edition Xbox Starfield controller appears to be the real deal, but its price tag might upset fans.
Rumors about Microsoft and Bethesda releasing a limited edition Starfield Xbox Series controller ahead of the launch of Starfield erupted some months ago, and last month, reliable deals leaker 'billbil-ku' revealed that the Starfield Limited Edition controller would be officially announced during Microsoft's Xbox showcase on June 11. Some days ago, the headset and a custom Starfield headset were spotted at various retailers, including Target, and the controller now appears to have been spotted at a local French retailer as well. Pictures of the controller's package were posted on Reddit, and while we've seen these shots before, the front of this freshly-spotted package might have revealed the price tag of this controller.
Last month, 'billbil-ku' said that the controller will likely sell for €74,99 in Europe, this local French retailer seemingly sells the controller for € 89,99 - quite steep for a regular Xbox Wireless controller without any additional features. We've included the shots of the front- and back of the controller package below.
As most of you will know, the regular Xbox Wireless controller retails for €59,99 in Europe, although it can often be bought for less on the official Microsoft store or select retailers.
