As the first mainline installment in the Halo series in over 6 years, Halo Infinite was a big deal when it launched on December 8, 2021. Among these promotional materials celebrating the launch of the title, 343 Industries commissioned an artist to make a breathtaking painting featuring the Master Chief.
While there has been a lot of artwork based on the Halo series over the years, this oil painting made for the release of Halo Infinite was something special. Designed by the renowned artist Iva Troj, the picture was massive at 3 meters by 6 meters long and featured the Master Chief fighting against Banished forces on Zeta Halo. The scene was incredible, portraying eye-catching action wherever the viewer looked. Previously, the artwork was displayed at the Saatchi Gallery in London, England. However, that looks to be changing as it appears fans are getting the chance to purchase part of this memorable artwork for themselves.

Recently, Xbox revealed it has chosen to part ways with the breathtaking Halo painting. According to the company, it's decided to sell the center section of the picture via an online auction. The purpose of this was to raise money for charity. Specifically, the proceeds from this stunning painting would go towards Special Effect, a UK-based charity that helped gamers with disabilities. The piece is currently available for bidding on eBay until March 6.
