Xbox Live is currently down, Microsoft has confirmed.
“You may not be able to sign-in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signed in, or have other related problems,” the company said on its service status page.
“Features that require sign-in like most games, apps and social activity won’t be available.”
The outage was reported at 11.07am PT / 2.07pm ET / 7.07pm GMT. In its most recent update at 12.54pm PT / 3.54pm ET / 8.54pm GMT, Microsoft said it was “working on the issue”.
In a new update at 1.11pm PT / 4.11pm ET / 9:11pm GMT, Microsoft said “we’ve identified the issue.”
