Xbox has officially announced that the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 11. While Xbox is not expected to have a presence at this year's E3 event, the company will still be hosting an E3-equivalent show to spotlight its upcoming games.
Last year's Xbox Games Showcase focused primarily on games that would be available day one on Game Pass and would launch within the next 12 months. Most of the games highlighted at that event are indeed living up to the promise, though some have slipped to later dates. It's possible the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase will maintain the narrower focus of the previous event, but it's also possible it will be used to announce new Xbox games that are coming later down the line.
