Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are able to claim a 10-hour free trial of Wild Hearts, an upcoming Monster Hunter-like game where players must face off with the wild Kemono. Those who are on the fence of Wild Hearts will be able to enjoy the trial and, should they enjoy the game, all progress will carry over.
In Wild Hearts, players take on the role of a Hunter tasked with defeating the Kemono within several large areas that make up the world of Azuma. It features eight different weapon types, can build items and traversal mechanics, and unlock new weapons and armor. It is said that Wild Hearts will take around 30 hours to beat, at least as far as its main story goes, meaning fans will get to try a third of the game with their Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Trial.
Why Wild Hearts is Skipping the PS4 and Xbox One
To be clear, however, Wild Hearts will not fully launch on Xbox Game Pass, meaning fans would need to check out the game at full price after that. Technically speaking, this demo is offered through EA Play which is bundled with Game Pass at the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription level. Ten hours is more than enough for fans who want to play or just want to check it out ahead of its February 17 release date, but for those who are waiting on full games to hit the service, it has a jam-packed week on top of this trial.
Xbox Game Pass is set to addMount and Blade 2: Bannerlord on February 14, Cities: Skylines Remastered on February 15, and Shadow Warriors 3: Definitive Edition on February 16. Atomic Heart is also hitting the service on April 21, and it stands to reason that Microsoft will reveal the next wave of games ahead of then. There's still plenty of time in the month for more games to be announced.
