On Wednesday, Xbox hosted its latest ID@Xbox Showcase event packed with new game announcements and reveals. The event was also packed full ofXbox Game Pass news, as seven new games were confirmed for the subscription service for release in 2022. What was most exciting about the announcements, however, was that two games would launch on Xbox Game Pass today. Those two games are the brand-new Tunic and Paradise Killer, which arrive on Xbox consoles for the first time today.
Tunic has been a highly anticipated indie game for some time. Players take on the role of a small fox as they adventure through a classic isometricThe Legend of Zelda style of experience. Tunic has long been looked forward to, but it had never been confirmed as an Xbox Game Pass release. That changed on Wednesday when Xbox confirmed Tunic was now available as an Xbox Game Pass title on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Paradise Killer is, unlike Tunic, not a brand-new game. The murder mystery/detective game was originally launched in September 2020. Reception of Paradise Killer was so positive that it was decided to be brought to consoles, with enhanced visuals, new quests, and more. Paradise Killer has been confirmed for release on Xbox today for some time, but wasn't confirmed for Xbox Game Pass. That changed today, as the newly launched port joined Xbox Game Pass both on consoles and PC.
