Microsoft announces the new Xbox Game Pass in two week batches, but release date announcements and reveals by other companies sometimes give fans advanced notice of titles that are coming to the subscription service. A recent event saw five more games confirmed as day one Xbox Game Pass titles, and while specific release dates for the games aren't available at the time of this writing, it's still a lot more for subscribers to look forward to in the months ahead.
The recent Annapurna Interactive showcase featured some announcements for day one Xbox Game Pass games, letting fans know which titles from the indie publisher would be making their way to Microsoft's service on day one. These games are confirmed to be coming either in 2022 or 2023, though none have very specific release window. All the games listed here will be available to play on Xbox Game Pass the same day that they are released for Xbox consoles.
Xbox Game Pass Just Lost 5 Games
Two of the games are expected to arrive on Xbox Game Pass by the end of 2022 in the form of Maquette and Solar Ash. PlayStation gamers have already had access to these games for quite some time, with Maquette even a free PS Plus title at one point. For those who are unfamiliar with the titles, Maquette is a first-person puzzle game, whereas Solar Ash is an action-adventure game with unique movement where players basically «skate» across the game world. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to playing both Maquette and Solar Ash at some point before the end of 2022, barring any unforeseen delays or other issues.
