Microsoft has established a clear pattern when it comes to its Xbox Game Pass announcements. The first batch of games are revealed at the beginning of the month, while the second batch of titles are revealed in the middle of the month, to be distributed over the following two weeks. This pattern holds true for February 2022, with Microsoft now revealing eight more games that are coming to Xbox Game Pass in various capacities.
Generally speaking, most Xbox Game Pass games come to Xbox consoles, but the bulk of new games coming in the second half of February 2022 seem to be mostly focused on PC. Anyone with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or a PC Game Pass subscription can check out the games like regular Game Pass titles, though it is a bit odd that the second half of February is so PC-heavy when it comes to Xbox Game Pass.

There are also multiple games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of the month that are joining the service through EA Play. EA Play is EA's own version of a Game Pass-like service, where users pay a fee to get access to various EA games. EA Play is a bonus perk for those who are signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, so new games coming to that service get roped in with the Game Pass releases.
Starting today, those with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can play Mass Effect: Legendary Edition through the Cloud. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was previously added to Xbox Game Pass last month, but now subscribers can check it out without having to download it. Then on February 17, subscribers can play the Xbox One version of Lawn Mowing Simulator, while those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass can play Madden NFL 22 for free.
