Xbox Game Pass subscribers get access to over 100 PC and Xbox games, with Ultimate members also benefiting from the monthly Games with Gold promotion. Games come and go from the service, however, with Titanfall leaving today and four other titles having departed the day before.
However, today, March 1st, also marked the arrival of two new games on Xbox Game Pass. Subscribers now have free access to Far: Changing Tides and Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Of the two games, Microsoft Flight Simulator needs the shortest introduction. The popular flight sim was released for PC and Xbox Series X/S in 2020. After years of inactivity, it marked the triumphant return of a long-running game series that began all the way back in 1982. Microsoft Flight Simulator already launched on Game Pass for Console end PC but did not support Cloud gaming until today. Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers can now stream the game to phones, tablets, and Xbox One, in addition to the next-gen consoles.
Meanwhile, Far: Chasing Tides is a new vehicle survival game that’s seen rave reviews over the last few days. This makes it a definite win for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers. The game comes from Swiss developer Okomotive and follows a similar format to the studio’s previous game, Far: Lone Sails. However, Far: Changing Tides swaps Lone Sails’ sea of sand for one of water. Players take control of a small boy named Toe, who must explore a flooded world in search of a new home.
