Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service is regularly updated with new content. This way, Microsoft can better make the argument that an Xbox Game Pass subscription is must-have, as players will never run out of games to play. Now, on Thursday, February 3, Microsoft has added three more games to the Xbox Game Pass lineup for subscribers to check out.
The three new games added to Xbox Game Pass on February 3 are Contrast, Dreamscaper, and Telling Lies. Dreamscaper and Telling Lies are available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers across consoles, PC, and the cloud, though Contrast is only available to those who are playing on cloud and consoles. Microsoft doesn't announce Xbox Game Pass removal dates until the games are a couple of weeks out from getting the boot, but based on how Game Pass titles have rotated in and out in the past, it's likely that these games will be available for at least a year before they leave the service.
Six Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in February
Contrast could be the exception that stays on Xbox Game Pass permanently, however. For those who may not be familiar with it, Contrast is a puzzle/platformer game that originally released in 2013. It was developed by Compulsion Games, the same studio that worked on We Happy Few. Microsoft acquired Compulsion Games about four years ago, so it's actually quite surprising that it's taken Contrast this long to make the jump to Xbox Game Pass.
Dreamscaper, meanwhile, is a game that could arguably be described as a day one Xbox Game Pass game. It's been available for PC and Nintendo Switch for a couple of years now, but is just today making its debut on Xbox.
