2K has announced the details of WWE 2K23‘s MyGM mode.
The mode, which returned to the series last year after years of fan demand, allows players to book their own wrestling shows, making matches and igniting rivalries, with a goal of receiving the highest ratings and defeating their fellow GM (general manager).
Alongside the reveal, 2K released a video of WWE Superstars Xavier Woods and Tyler Breeze playing through the mode.
Both were a rallying voice in the community to bring the mode back, playing older versions of the game mode on Wood’s UpUpDownDown YouTube channel.

New playable GMs include Xavier Woods, Tyler Breeze, Eric Bischoff, Kurt Angle, and Mick Foley. Players can also choose to manage two new brands, NXT 2.0 and WCW.
New match types and stipulations, including Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Steel Cage, Backstage Brawl, Falls Count Anywhere, Submission, Iron Man, Last Man Standing, and Tornado Tag have also been added to the game mode.
MyGM now offers four-player local matches, and Superstar Shake-ups (events in the real WWE that see wrestlers move from brand to brand) has also been added.
2K recently announced the lineup for WWE 2K23’s DLC roadmap.
DLC Superstars include three-time former World Champion Bray Wyatt, former Raw Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, aka The O.C., 2022 WWE Hall of Fame inductees Scott Steiner and Rick Steiner, Zeus, SmackDown color commentator and five-time Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, and first-ever three-time WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres.
