After a wild night of matches on Sunday, May 8, Wrestlemania Backlash is in the books. The WWE PPV was relatively quick compared to the two-night-long Wrestlemania that appeared the month prior. There were only six matches on the card for Backlash, with only one of them being a championship match. What stole the show, however, was Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins--which actually opened up the event. The two put on an amazing match to kick things off. Check out the full results for WWE's Wrestlemania Backlash below along with a review of each match.
Backlash featured a few leftover feuds from Wrestlemania. For instance, AJ Styles got a second shot at Edge, but this time around, Damian Priest was barred from ringside, and no, it still wasn't a fair fight. This year's event took place at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. While Wrestlemania is more focused on championship matches, Backlash was more concerned with rematches, so there were very few championship matches on the card.
What a battle!
