World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary Rewards Revealed - Mounts, Pets, Toys, HD Armor Updates, & More
Blizzard has revealed the many rewards available to players during World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary event, including mounts, pets, toys, HD armor sets, and more!
Mounts
Available mounts appear to include the Blue Armored Phoenix inspired by Ashes of Al'ar, an Enchanted Spellweave Carpet similar to the Leywoven Flying Carpet, a Frayfeather Hippogryph similar to the Reins of the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph, and Amani Hunting Bear green recolor of the famous Amani Battle Bear.
Pets & Toys
Celebrate 20 years with a special balloon toy, and embrace your inner demon with these adorable baby Doomwalkers!
For a limited time, you will also see some returning Anniversary items that can be also purchased with Bronze Celebration Tokens when you visit Storekeeper Reginald in the Celebration Pavilion and peruse his inventory.
- Core Hound Chain: Teaches the Core Hound mount.
- Lil' Nefarian: Teaches the Lil’ Nefarian pet.
- Molten Corgi: Teaches the Molten Corgi pet.
- Onyxian Whelpling: Teaches the Onyxian Whelpling pet.
- Hatespark the Tiny: Teaches the Hatespark the Tiny pet.
- Baby Blizzard Bear: Teaches the Baby Blizzard Bear pet.
Cosmetic Transmog
WoW's 20th anniversary also coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise, which is simultaneously celebrated with a line of cosmetic crests themed on the original four game factions — the Human kingdom of Lordaeron, the Orcish Horde, The Night Elves of Kalimdor, and the Undead Scourge!
Blizzard employees are honored for their service with special awards, a sword after 5 years, shield in 10, and helm for 20 years with the company — now players can get their own versions in game too!
Finally, the vanilla Tier 2 armor sets are receiving HD updates for each class, to include new versions for classes added in later expansions!
