Woosa Awakening has arrived in Black Desert Online. Today’s update adds a whole new playstyle for the first of the Twin Classes, with a new look, flower-inspired abilities and explosive combos.
June will be a big month for Black Desert Online , with the Land of the Morning Light expansion set to release June 14th, and the new form for Woosa is a taste of the changes to expect. The expansion draws inspiration from both historical elements and Korean legends, and Woosa Awakening draws her strength from the Seocheon Flower Garden, part of the Korean afterlife.
So what can we expect from Woosa Awakening, Do Wielder of Blooming Death? Pearl Abyss released a combat trailer showing her abilities in action, and we can see how the flower garden inspired her combat kit.
She's designed as a hybrid character for mid-range combat. and in PvP, to be more powerful in large-scale battles. She has been balanced and designed for combos, so figuring out the right strategy is important. Her abilities may be graceful and filled with flowers, but she will strike hard while you’re distracted by the beauty.
Woosa Awakening is the first of the Twin Classes to get this new form, but Maegu Awakening is coming in June. Pearl Abyss has said that both Awakening forms are a way for each sister to have their own version of the other's abilities, and if you’re familiar with them, you’ll begin to see just how this all-new form preserves some of that idea. Next, we’ll see the more melee-heavy version of Maegu.
