Team Ninja has confirmed the release date for its upcoming action game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
The game is due to be released on March 3, 2023 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC (via Windows and Steam).
It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one on console and PC.
According to Team Ninja, the game will also receive a Digital Deluxe Edition including a Season Pass that unlocks three future DLC packs.
The DLC packs will include new generals, demons, scenarios, stages and weapon types. The Pass also comes with a digital artbook, digital mini soundtrack and Qinglong Armour.
Players who pre-order the game will get Zhuqye Armour, while players who buy it by March 16 will also get Baihu Armour.
For players wishing to buy the game physically, there will also be a limited edition SteelBook Launch Edition, which comes with two bonus DLC items, the Crown of Zhurong and Crown of Gonggong.
Announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase in June, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is billed as a joint creation from Team Ninja producers Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne).
“Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows the dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms,” reads an official product description.
“Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.”
