Microsoft has started rolling out the Windows 11 2022 (version 22H2) to the public. The new version has brought updates to the Start menu as well as tabs in the File Explorer window. The update also comes with exciting features like systemwide live captions, voice access to control PCs, Smart App control for added security and much more. Microsoft has announced the new update via a blog. The new Windows 11 2022 Update is rolling out in 190+ countries. Windows laptop and PC users running Windows 11 can update their devices by opening the Windows Update settings screen. Here's a step-by-step guide to do so.

Open your laptop and go to Settings tab.

There, click on Windows Update and select ‘Check for updates.’

If the update is available there, choose to download it immediately or pause update or change the time it downloads if you wish to update that later. 

Once done, you are all set to access the new features in Windows 11 version 22H2. 

Microsoft says that the Windows 11 2022 version has brought updates to the Start menu, faster and more accurate search, Quick Settings, improved local and current events coverage in Widgets board, tabs in File Explorer and much more. The version also has system wide live captions to automatically generate captions from any form of audio content on Windows 11. Additionally, it has voice access which allows users to control their PC and author text by using their voice. There is also a Natural Voices for Narrator feature. Another noteworthy feature coming in the Windows 11 2022 update is the addition of Smart App Control.
