Over the last few years, Netflix's slate of original content hasn't exactly wowed its audience. While there are stand-outs like The Umbrella Academy and Squid Game, the vast majority of Netflix Originals tend to be disappointingly average, appealing to such a wide audience that they lose any sense of identity in the process. Stranger Things is one of the clear exceptions. Since its first season debuted in 2016, Stranger Things has managed to capture the popular zeitgeist like few shows can, and its popularity has never let up. So, with Stranger Things Part 4 coming to an end, fans may already be desperate for their next Stranger Things hit. Luckily,Far Cry 6, of all places, has what fans might be looking for.
One of the more underrated games of last year, Far Cry 6 does quite a bit to separate itself from its predecessors, but was still viewed as more of the same by most critics. While that conclusion isn't entirely wrong, it doesn't give Far Cry 6 enough credit, with the game featuring the tightest gunplay, best free-roam exploration, and most relatable characters in any Far Cry from the last decade or so. To make the deal even better, Far Cry 6 even added a whole host of free DLC, including a handful of crossover missions, one of which, called «The Vanishing,» brings Stranger Things' Upside Down to Yara.
