Shane West explains why he doesn't want A Walk to Remember reboot. West is an American actor, singer, and songwriter, best known for his roles as Landon Carter in A Walk to Remember, Batman villain Bane in Gotham, Tom Sawyer in The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, and Michael in Nikita. In addition to his acting career, West currently sings for the punk/rock band The Twilight Creeps.
Prior to A Walk to Remember, West starred in the lead role of Eli Sammler on ABC's Once and Again, but it was playing Landon Carter that truly propelled him into the spotlight and earned him a Teen Choice Award. The coming-of-age romance drama film premiered in 2002 and starred West, Mandy Moore, Peter Coyote, and Daryl Hannah. A Walk To Remember follows Carter (West), a rebellious high school senior who finds himself falling unexpectedly in love with the Baptist minister's daughter, Jamie Sullivan (Moore).
