Why Plathville Fans Think Olivia & Ethan Stay Together For The Show
Olivia and Ethan Plath from Welcome to Plathville have had their fair share of problems, and some fans believe that they aren't really in love anymore. It hasn’t been an easy road for the young couple, as they have had to adjust to a lot of changes in the short time that they have been married. They have made numerous attempts to get on the same page, even when it meant sacrificing their own happiness. Many fans think that Olivia and Ethan were never a perfect match, and that they outgrew each other a long time ago.
The Welcome to Plathville couple tied the knot in October 2018, and since then, their marriage has been tested in a multitude of different ways. Although Olivia and Ethan grew up with similar backgrounds, it was evident that they didn’t have the same type of upbringing. While Olivia’s parents were strict, their rules weren't as extreme as Ethan’s parents were. He had to miss out on a lot of basic life experiences that many people take for granted, like enjoying sugary treats and watching television. Despite this, Olivia happily took the opportunity to introduce Ethan to a new side of life that didn’t include so many restrictions.

This caused tension, and triggered a long-standing feud between Olivia and her in-laws, Kim and Barry Plath. They felt that Olivia’s influence would start to have a negative impact on their younger children, and their opinions created a division within the family.
