Warning: SPOILERS ahead for The Book of Boba Fett episode 6!
The Book of Boba Fett episode 6 brought back a handful of familiar faces, including Luke Skywalker, and here's who played the legendary Star Wars figure. The sixth episode of the Disney+ series, titled «Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger,» still primarily kept Boba Fett on the sidelines while setting up various storylines which will play out in the show's finale and upcoming Star Wars shows. With Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin still at the forefront after his return in The Book of Boba Fett episode 5, the whereabouts of Luke and Grogu was finally revealed.
In The Mandalorian season 2 finale, Luke saved Din's group from a group of attacking Dark Troopers before vowing to train Grogu as his new Padawan. Sadly, that meant separating Din and «the Child,» who had formed a strong bond during their adventures together. While the fate of Luke and Grogu's training was expected to be unveiled in The Mandalorian season 3, the duo made a return in The Book of Boba Fett episode 6 as Din vowed to visit his «little friend.» With his newly-constructed Naboo Starfighter, Din arrived at the location of Luke's future Jedi Academy, but he never got a chance to reunite with Grogu. As Luke was busy teaching Grogu the ways of the Force, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) convinced Din that strengthened attachment could make Grogu's training more difficult. Though Din left without directly meeting with Grogu, the Mandalorian left behind his gift: beskar armor crafted specifically for the foundling.
