Apple recently launched its latest flagship, the iPhone 14 series globally. Apple has announced a new iPhone 14 Plus in place of the iPhone 14 Mini. Other models include iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Although the iPhone models are the same globally, they are not priced equally everywhere. Apple has this year made an exception with the models launched in the US as they come without a physical SIM slot, meaning only the e-SIM option is available.
Despite being identical in the rest of the world, iPhones do not cost the same everywhere. This is due to the presence of various factors such as import duties, GST taxes and more. That means if you buy an iPhone in the US, it is sure to be cheaper than the Indian variant. Check out the price of the iPhone 14 series around the world.
iPhone 14 price in India – Starts at Rs. 79,900
iPhone 14 price in the US – Starts at $799 (roughly Rs. 63,697)
iPhone 14 price in the UK – Starts at £849 (roughly Rs. 77,161)
iPhone 14 price in the UAE – Starts at AED 3399 (roughly Rs. 73,774)
iPhone 14 price in Turkey – Starts at 30999 TL (roughly Rs. 1,35,228)
Unsurprisingly, the iPhone 14 is the cheapest in the US where it costs Rs. 63,697 after direct conversion. On the other hand, India is the second most expensive place to buy the iPhone 14 where it costs Rs. 79,900. Turkey takes the mantle of being the most expensive place to buy an iPhone with the iPhone 14 costing almost Rs. 1,35,228.
So, if you want to buy the iPhone 14 for cheap, you might have to make a trip to the US or ask your relatives to get it for you. However, that would not be the best thing to do simply because the drawbacks are too many and make the entire thing unviable.
