Being one of the big retailers of games and technology in North America, it seems only right that Square Enix has partnered with Best Buy to bring its fans a unique physical pre-order bonus for the upcoming action RPG.
A lot of buzz has recently been generated for the game. September 2022's Nintendo Direct finally revealed the actual launch date of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, which likely triggered the opening of pre-orders. Online and physical pre-orders became available in shops such as the official Square Enix store, GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, and more. And with only a few months until the game's release, these retailers are likely trying to snatch up as much of the player base as they can by offering unique bonuses for their pre-orders.

According to Best Buy's official website, fans of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion who pre-order the action RPG will receive a special steelbook case with their purchase. The «Hero's Legacy» steelbook case features Crisis Core's protagonist Zack Fair with his Buster Sword, in a pose that is facing away from the camera. Many fans will likely recall that Final Fantasy 7's hero Cloud Strife has a similar pose in official key art with the same weapon. According to Best Buy, this artwork of Zack Fair is still subject to change and the steelbook case will only be available while supplies last.
