A Wheel Of Time season 2 video reveals a new desert location and the crew preparing for a fight scene in Amazon Prime Video's fantasy adaptation. Based on American author Robert Jordan's massive high-fantasy novel series and developed for Prime Video by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. alum Rafe Judkins, Wheel Of Time was renewed for a second season long before season 1 premiered in November 2021. Since then, season 2 has been filming in various parts of the world, including Prague and Morocco.
Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) leads the cast of Amazon's fantasy adaptation as Moiraine Damodred, a powerful channeler and member of the Aes Sedai, alongside Daniel Henney as her traveling companion and Warder, Lan Mandragoran. Wheel Of Time follows Moiraine and Lan as they search for the Dragon Reborn, a channeler powerful enough to destroy the world or save it from the Dark One, so the prophecy says. Both the book and the show take place in a fictional world similar to Earth and season 1 introduced viewers to various fantastical locations. Now, some new footage suggests season 2 will be expanding to at least one new location.
