Whatcha been playing this week, Destructoid?
Good morning, friends, and welcome to Whatcha Been Playing? Look, I’ll get straight to it: I still haven’t finished moving house. I know, I know… but I’m old, and I have no car or friends. It makes it a lot harder. Hopefully, this weekend will definitely, finally be it, and next week I’ll be broadcasting from a new location. Exciting! Scary af! How’s the project going so far? Well, let’s just say that nobody trusts anybody anymore… and we’re all very tired.
Regardless, I hope that this week and weekend find you very well indeed. I hope that the next couple of days bring you happiness, rest, and relaxation if you are free from the doldrums of work and chores. And if you are working, it’s ok, we’re all here for you whenever you find a free moment. Here’s hoping for a smooth couple of days for you too, don’t push yourself too hard, be sure to get home safely, and make the most of your evenings. You deserve them. In the year of our lord 2022, we all deserve them.
Two Evil Dead weekends in a row? You better believe it. Following on from last week’s very pleasant watch of 2013’s Evil Dead pseudo-remake, I will be taking a look at Behavior Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game. I’m interested to see how successfully the chaotic multiplayer title captures the atmosphere of the film series… or doesn’t. Either way, watch out for my thoughts and words next week! Additionally, I’m hoping to find an hour or two with Warner Bros. wild Smash-’em-up MutiVersus. Word on the street is that it’s some rootin’ tootin’ good fun, and I need more of that in my life.
