Thanks to his So You Think You Can Dance season 4 stint, Stephen «tWitch» Boss is well-known in the dance world, and it's time to share what he's been doing since his time on the series. Even though he didn’t win (he was named the SYTYCD runner-up instead), tWitch built a fanbase. Appearing on the popular show helped him to launch his career.
After competing in 2008, tWitch’s So You Think You Can Dance career didn’t end. He returned as an All Star for seasons 7, 8, and 9, and served as a Team Captain on the show in season 12. He also appeared as a substitute judge in SYTYCD season 13, and was a permanent judge in season 15. FOX announced that tWitch will be judging again in season 17, which premieres on May 18 at 9/8c.

SYTYCD wasn’t just responsible for jumpstarting tWitch’s career, as it’s where he met his future wife, Allison Holker. The two were married in 2013 and share two children together: son Maddox, who was born in 2016, and daughter Zaia, who came along in 2019. Together, since 2018, tWitch and Allison have hosted Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, a television series that documents couples’ Disney-themed nuptials.
Perhaps the best thing to happen to tWitch’s career since SYTYCD is his work on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Since 2014, tWitch has been the popular daytime show’s DJ (plus sidekick, dancer, and sometimes even host or co-host). After some allegations came out about a troubled work environment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2020, certain changes were made to the show’s management team, and tWitch was promoted to co-executive producer. He has also worked with Ellen DeGeneres on NBC’s Game of Games, serving as the show’s narrator
