The character list for Titans season 4 is expanding with casting confirmed for Brother Blood, Mother Mayhem, and Jinx. These characters all at least begin their narratives as villains, with Brother Blood and Mother Mayhem working as a part of the Church of Blood. While the Church of Blood is expected to be the main antagonist for Titans season 4, Jinx is set for a recurring role throughout the season, hinting at a potential narrative direction for the show.
Titans has now fully established the group with not only a full cadre of heroes but plenty of allies who might come and go throughout the coming seasons. However, the series has struggled to find villains that are able to be an appropriate fit for a team with such disparate power levels. While season 1’s Trigon’s (Seamus Deaver) powers were godlike, season 2’s Deathstroke/Slade Wilson was only a skilled metahuman, and season 3’s Scarecrow and Red Hood team up relied on behind the scenes scheming. Furthermore, the villains have repeatedly required team members like Starfire and Raven to be nerfed or absent to avoid them easily defeating the villains.

Season 3 saw some members come into their powers more fully while also recruiting the new member Tim Drake as Robin, so there is plenty of scope for new and more impressive villains. Here’s everything to know about the Church of Blood, Brother Blood (Joseph Morgan), Mother Mayhem (Franka Potente), and Jinx (Lisa Ambalavanar) and what they might mean for Titans season 4.
