In the upcoming week, the streaming giant Netflix has tons of movies and TV shows arriving to its service. From the return of the hit series Russian Doll, to a documentary about the clothing store Abercrombie & Fitch, or a sequel to a horror movie about a Ouiji board, there are plenty of new options for Netflix users to watch over the course of the next seven days.
The biggest release of the upcoming week is Season 2 of Russian Doll, which arrives on Wednesday, April 20. Taking place four years after the events of Season 1, the series follows Nadia (Natasha Lyonne) and Alan (Charlie Barnett), as they find a fate worse than the first season's endless death loop. The duo find a time portal in Manhattan and they explore their pasts. Like Season 1, this sci-fi series will surely present some wild ideas.
On Tuesday, April 19, a new documentary arrives called White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch. The film takes a look at the wildly-popular clothing chain and how racism and prejudice played a factor in the advertising of the store and its hiring practices. Check out a trailer for the film below.
Kicking off the new week is the horror film Ouija: Origin of Evil. The sequel to the 2014 film--which is not very good--Origin of Evil follows a mother and her daughters as they hold scam seances. However, these seances open the door to an evil presence, and it invades their home. This flick is far superior than the first movie and offers up a ton of scares. More importantly, it's written and directed by none other than Mike Flanagan.
Below, you'll find everything coming to Netflix this upcoming week. And if you're looking ahead, check out what's coming to Netflix for the rest of April.
