Almost two years since its initial reveal WB Games Montréal is finally gearing up to release Gotham Knights, with a number of pre-order bonuses and game editions having now been revealed as well. Although unconnected to Rocksteady's Batman: Arkhamseries, one of the best features of that franchise was the customization it had to offer in regards to changing the Dark Knight's suit. Gotham Knights appears to be following suit, with a recent demo of Red Hood and Nightwing gameplay in Gotham Knights showing off the game's character customization options. Additional pre-order bonuses will further increase the options available to players, with suits inspired by comic book artists like Jim Lee and series such as Batman Beyond.
It's likely that players can expect a large variety of outfits for Red Hood, Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl in Gotham Knights, particularly because each character has had multiple outfit designs since their initial conceptions. Additionally, one of the pre-order bonuses has already shown that Warner Bros. is open to designing outfits for the rest of the Bat Family that take inspiration from one of Batman's most iconic looks. Gotham Knights' playable heroes may see multiple sets of matching outfits with similar themes like the Year One costume style showcased in the customization demo.
