Apart from being in the main cast of The Breakfast Club (1985), St. Elmo's Fire (1985),and the Young Guns (1988)series, Emilio Estevez is most famous for his role as Gordon Bombay in The Mighty Ducks trilogy. 25 years after Estevez last played the character in D3: The Mighty Ducks, he finally reprised the role in the 2021 Disney+ series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. However, due to a contract dispute and creative differences, Estevez won't be returning for The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers season 2.
