Xbox continues to make regular announcements regarding upcoming titles planned for Xbox Game Pass, including new day one releases. Outside these regular announcements, there are rare surprise announcements from developers themselves, another of which has recently cropped up. Yaza Games, which is currently working on strategy game Inkulinati, announced that it will be bringing it to Xbox Game Pass as a day one release when it's eventually ready.
The latest game planned to launch on Xbox Game Pass is Inkulinati, a strategy game based on ink art from medieval manuscripts. Developer Yaza Games made the announcement on Twitter with a short message to its community reading, «Rejoice Inkulinati Apprentices!» It was also confirmed thatInkulinati will be coming to all Xbox Game Pass platforms. Support for Xbox Game Pass on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Game Pass for cloud will all be offered.

To go into more detail about whatInkulinati is, players will take control of medieval animals wielding armor, swords, bows and arrows, and more. They'll then use these units, each with their own abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, to wage battles of unique makeup. Not only will Inkulinati have its own single-player campaign, where players take on figures including Death and Dante Alighieri in battle, but there will also be local PvP multiplayer.
The only downside of today's announcement that Inkulinati is going to be released on Xbox Game Pass is that the game currently doesn't have a release window.
