Amazon decided we all need reminding just how many benefits are available when signing up for a $139 Amazon Prime membership.
Today, Amazon launched a new "About Amazon Prime page(Opens in a new window)" which aims to offer a mix of news, updates, and details about all the available Prime benefits. We all associate a Prime subscription with free shipping and access to the Prime Video service, but apparently members aren't taking full advantage "of all the perks."
The new page is split into shopping, savings, and entertainment benefits sections. It goes into detail on each benefit including same-day delivery, Buy with Prime, Prime Now, Prime Reading, Prime Video, Prime Gaming, Prime Day, Amazon Teen, Amazon Access, Amazon Pharmacy, Amazon Music, Amazon Photos, RxPass, Family Library for Kindle ebooks, the free year of GrubHub+ you can claim, as well as discounts available at Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh stores.
Amazon intends to keep the About page updated with any new offers or perks that get added to a Prime membership. It's also possible for existing Prime subscribers to view a condensed breakdown of their benefits, as well as some stats regarding how many benefits they have used (e.g. packages delivered, TV shows watched) simply by visiting their Amazon account and loading the Prime membership page. PCMag also has a handy guide to what's included in a Prime membership and how much it costs.
