A xXx video game starring Vin Diesel makes a lot of sense. This has become an era of nostalgia, and the actor's role of Xander Cage in the xXx movies is worthy of reprisal in a video game. Thus far, Vin Diesel has starred in several video games, including multiple Riddick titles, Wheelman, and the upcomingArk 2. A xXx video game starring Vin Diesel as Xander Cage could appeal to both fans of the films and the action/spy genres while bringing a beloved character to life on consoles.
The biggest question, of course, remains what a xXx video game should look like. The movies are a more high-octane version of the James Bond spy films, and so a video game could follow a similar path. GoldenEye 007 was certainly a watershed moment for first-person shooters and remains a standout among the James Bond video games, but a xXx video game in first-person would take away from the star factor that Vin Diesel would bring along. Vin Diesel would arguably be the biggest draw to this sort of game, and removing his features from gameplay via a FPS would seem counterproductive.

In the original film, Xander Cage was a stuntman who loved extreme sports, so levels designed around something like snowboarding would be thrilling. Driving cars through intense shootout sequences were a part of the films too, and multiple Bond games have done this to varying degrees of success. Vin Diesel is so synonymous with car stunts, too, that multiple car levels in a xXx video game seem like a no-brainer.
