Fox officially renewed Welcome to Flatch Season 2, the network's hit comedy series based on the British sitcom, This Country. Welcome to Flatch is a mockumentary series that follows young adult best friends and cousins, Kelly Mallet and Lloyd “Shrub” Mallet, who live their lives in the small midwestern town of Flatch, Ohio. Fox made a bold statement with the launch of the series, as they put the first seven episodes on Hulu to be streamed on the same day that the sitcom’s premiere aired on live television, hoping to draw in viewers uniquely from the start.
It is now being reported via Deadline that the mockumentary series will return as Welcome to Flatch Season 2 has officially been greenlit. President of Entertainment at Fox network, Michael Thorn, commented on the exciting news for the future of the comedy series. Read his comment below:

Welcome to Flatch Season 1 starred Homes as Kelly Mallet and Sam Straley as Shrub Mallet, Sean William Scott, Aya Cash, Taylor Ortega, Justin Linville, and Krystal Smith. The half-hour-long episodes are written by Jenny Bicks (The Greatest Showman, Sex and the City), with executive producer Paul Feig also onboard the comedy project. The fantastic cast and unique storytelling already have audiences clamoring for Welcome to Flatch Season 2, even as the first season has yet to end. Catch new episodes of Welcome to Flatch Season 1 as they air on Thursdays on Fox, or binge new episodes before they hit live television, exclusively on Hulu.
