Here are the Weekly Nerub-ar Palace tuning changes which includes new abilities and Private Auras!

Private Auras

Removed Private Auras

In the best news of for Nerub-ar Palace for Private Auras:

This ability was projected to be worse than Neltharion's Volcanic Heart with a total of 8 players getting a debuff (+3 of Neltharion) and only having 6 seconds to figure out what to do with it (-1 second of Neltharion). Thankfully, it's no longer a Private Aura, but it will still likely be Weakaured.

Here's an example of testing from Heroic when it was Private Aura'ed and there were only 4 debuffs.

New Private Auras

There are some new Private Auras, but none of these worry me as these don't see as bad as some of the others currently.

• Phase Blades / Phase Blades
• Queensbane A / Queensbane B
• Unseen Disguise
• Assassination

In the case of Phase Blades, I do actually think Private Aura'ing this ability makes this boss much better. Getting told exactly what number you were right away does make the mechanic kind of lame. This is one circumstance where I agree with the Private Aura'ing of this mechanic.

Nerub-ar Palace

Ulgrax the Devourer

• Battered and Bruised now increases Carnivorous Contest damage by 500%
• Brutal Crush now applies 20 stacks of Tenderized (was 18)
• Contemptful Rage now increases damage by 250% (was 200%)
• Devour damage increased by 39%
• Insatiable Rage now increases Physical damage by 20% for 20 sec (was 10% increased Nature damage for 30 sec)
• Venomous Lash initial damage damage reduced by 29%, period damage reduced by 20%

Rasha'nan

• Web Reave is now required to hit at least 4 people (was 3)

Broodtwister Ovi'nax

• Experimental Dosage damage and healing absorb increased by 33%
• Infest damage increased by 60%
• Ingest Black Blood damage and healing absorb increased by 66%
• Mutation: Accelerated, Mutation: Necrotic and Mutation: Ravenous now increases health by 25%/35%/50% (was 100%)
