Sideshow Collectibles does it again, stealing the spotlight at Comic-Con 2022. For well over a decade the self-proclaimed «greatest purveyor of pop culture in the known universe» has hosted the arguably most must-see booth on the San Diego Comic-Con show floor and this year, after a two-year hiatus for the pop culture convention, they've done it again.
During Preview Night for SDCC 2022, an evening for badgeholders and press to explore the show floor and treasure hunt convention-exclusive merch, Screen Rant took an early booth tour of Sideshow's setup and took some photos to share. It's an annual tradition and always a great way to kick off the event before we head into panels and hosting interviews in our media suite all day every day beginning Thursday morning.

This year Sideshow is displaying a wide variety of Hot Toys items from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and more. See below for highlights including Doctor Strange, Terminator 2's T-1000, various Spider-Man costumes (and some Spidey villains), Batman, Green Lantern, Sinestro, Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand, Joker and Punchline, Boba Fett and Cad Bane, and Paul Atreides.
My personal favorite is the N-1 Starfighter based on the rugged version assembled for The Mandalorian and Grogu in an episode of The Book of Boba Fett, and not because of the ship which I think is a goofy nostalgia play, but because it's a wildly impressive showpiece. The item is a not-for-sale prototype without a price tag, and it reminds of years ago at Comic-Con when Sideshow similarly had a massive TIE Interceptor on display on their booth. I've always wanted that.
