Developers from Naughty Dog have revealed behind-the-scenes details from one of the Unchartedseries' best chase encounters, seen in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Despite the popular action-adventure franchise being quiet for some time, 2022 is set to be a good year for fans, with not only the upcoming movie starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, but also the PS5 and PC release of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves.
Uncharted 4 marked the end of Drake's journey when it released in 2016, though the franchise would continue in 2017's standalone release, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, starring Chloe Frazer.A Thief's End was the first in the series to launch on PS4, and utilized the console's power and features with typical Naughty Dog cinematic flair. One of the most memorable scenes for many is the Madagascar chase, which sees Drake utilize vehicles and weapons in a multi-part escape scene to reunite with his brother, Sam. Recognized as being a series highlight, the sequence is set to impress new players when Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves comes to PC and PS5 this month.
