Nintendo has just announced a new Nintendo Direct showcase for tomorrow starting at 6 AM PT (9 AM ET). The “Mini” Direct will run for 25 minutes and feature "info on upcoming third-party Nintendo Switch games." That means nothing for Breath of the Wild 2, but maybe we’ll finally get a firm release date for Bayonetta 3.
News of a larger Direct doesn’t come as too much of a surprise. Reporter Jeff Grubb said there’d be a larger Direct coming after the Xenoblade 3 Direct, while Spanish gaming publication Manual not only received word of a new Direct coming on Tuesday but also a few hints on what games will be showcased.

"I’ve also been told that some Persona game will be present, though I don’t know which game," said Nacho Requena during a livestream. "I’ve also been told there will be another game that has been available for some time on other platforms… it’s been available for four years now."
That four-year-old game is a mystery, but rumors of a Red Dead Redemption 2 port have been swirling for years. In 2019, Target’s Australian catalog briefly showed RDR2 on the Switch, while a recent datamine found a Switch controller in the game’s files. Most other big four-year-old games have already been ported to the Switch, although Red Dead Redemption 2 would easily be the biggest.
The most recent Direct dove deep into Xenoblade Chronicles 3, detailing the game’s story, its many characters, and new combat options. Players will be able to swap their character classes to build a well-rounded team and also fuse characters together in powerful "Ouroboros" forms.
