There's a Nintendo Direct supposedly taking place some time next week. However, you better not hold your breath for Breath of the Wild 2, as the Direct will reportedly focus on third party games. Nacho Requena of Spanish games magazine, Manual apparently got word that major third party studios will feature during the showcase.
“We should have a Nintendo Direct this coming Tuesday,” Requena said during a live stream, translated by VGC. “This will be mainly focused on third-party games – that’s what I’ve been told to expect.
“I’ve also been told that some Persona game will be present, though I don’t know which game,” they continued. “I’ve also been told there will be another game that has been available for some time on other platforms… it’s been available for four years now.”

As for the game that's been out for four years and is finally coming to Switch – rumours have been circulating for over two years about Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to Nintendo's handheld console. There's been ample proof pointing to it, including a Target ad listing the game for the Switch, as well as an image of the Switch controller being found in the game by a dataminer.
Only last week, Nintendo held a dedicated Direct for Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The showcase focussed on the game's story, characters, and gameplay.
