Rockstar Games’ open-world western sequel launched across all non-Nintendo platforms back in 2018 and earned high praise for its detailed game world and emotionally-charged story. Red Dead Redemption 2 broke many gaming records when it was first released, and even four years later, devoted players are still uncovering interesting secrets and hidden details within the open-world landscape.
Recently, rumors have suggested Red Dead Redemption 2 could become available on the newest home console generation with an update for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, similar to Grand Theft Auto 5's March update that enhanced graphics and added new features. While the possibility of experiencing Red Dead Redemption 2 on new generation consoles is exciting, Nintendo Switch gamers may also be wondering when it will be possible to roam the Old West as Arthur Morgan — and the answer may be just around the corner.

It has been confirmed Nintendo will be hosting a Nintendo Direct Mini livestream on June 28 at 6 AM PT/ 8 AM ET, and gaming journalist Nacho Requena recently teased some potential announcements on his YouTube channel (via Gaming Bible).
