Ubisoft plans to unveil Assassin’s Creed Shadows today via a cinematic trailer.
The reveal trailer, which you’ll be able to watch via the YouTube embed above, will go live at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST.
The video, which is expected to be almost four minutes long, will offer the first proper look at the next Assassin’s Creed game, which will be an open world adventure set in feudal Japan.
Ubisoft recently confirmed that the game will be released during its current fiscal year ending in March 2025.
Following the announcement of the game’s official title earlier this week—the project was previously referred to as Codename Red—various details have seemingly leaked, including a November 15 release date and DLC plans.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which is being made by Assassin’s Creed Odyssey developer Ubisoft Quebec and has the same creative director, will begin what Ubisoft is calling “period three” for the franchise, which has sold over 200 million copies since it launched in 2007, according to the company.
It announced the project in September 2022, when itrevealed the future roadmap for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, which included Shadows as one of six upcoming series entries.
