Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters is a game that is jam-packed with enemies. There’s everything from titanic war machines, to scuttling cultists, to mutated hulks. Things might start in your favor, after all, you are the Hammer. That balance quickly tips once daemons, heretic Astartes, and Hellbrutes start entering the fray.

As innumerable as the enemy may be, they are not unkillable. Heck, even the immortal ones can be felled once you know what to do. Knowing is half the battle, so getting to grips with Nurgle’s children before actually engaging in a brutal scrap, will go a long way. We won’t be covering bosses in this guide, only the basic enemies. Don’t worry though, we have boss guides ready to go.
Nurgle Cultists are the lowest of the low. Just about every stat is as low as the game will ever go, and individually, they aren’t a threat. Unfortunately for you, Cultists rarely operate alone, and enough of these guys pumping rounds into your Knights will eventually start to hurt.
Nurgle Cultists have very low HP and can be downed with a single round from your Storm Bolter - even at level 1. That being said, you will need to use Psybolt (or Force Strike). Grenades and AOE attacks also work wonders as Cultists often clump together. Grenades can also be used to disrupt Cultists, and break them out of Overwatch.
The Heavy Stubber Cultist is an upgraded variant of the Cultist, and will often be seen hiding slightly further back in a patrol formation. They are packing a Heavy Stubber, and this is far more dangerous than the Nurgle Cultists' piddly Autogun. Not only that, but this guy has more HP, making him harder to kill.
