Vikings: Valhalla, the sequel to the hit series, Vikings, is set to arrive on Netflix. Like Vikings, the new series will introduce some of the most notorious Vikings legends to a new audience. Some share a history with a few Vikings characters, while others will be introducing their own legacies.
The upcoming Netflix series has already been ordered for at least three seasons. Given that a century has elapsed between Vikings and the start of Vikings: Valhalla, it will be interesting to see how the series will honor the history some of these characters bring with them. Vikings' final season already began to alter the history that some Vikings: Valhalla characters were destined to bring with them.

Vikings centered around the legacy of notorious Viking, Ragnar Lothbrok, and his family. The series focused on Ragnar's rise to fame alongside Lagertha, Aslaug, and Floki before his children, Bjorn, Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd, and Ivar became the focus of the series. Vikings: Valhalla will deal with an entirely different realm of notorious figures who will come equipped with their own impressive, gory adventures.
Leif is described as a man «from a tightly-knit family steeped in the old pagan beliefs.» He is one of Vikings: Valhalla's leading men who will introduce viewers to the tense political and religious state of the world. Of his accomplishments, Leif's often associated with discovering Vinland (an area believed to rest along the coast of North America).
