Another gacha game is shutting down. Vespa is saying goodbye to its tower defense RPG, Time Defenders. The game’s servers will be turned off on March 29, 2024. Vespa is a Korean developer known for King’s Raid, another RPG. Keep reading to know what led to Time Defenders EOS.
Launched regionally on April 20, 2022, Time Defenders just didn’t manage to draw a crowd. Vespa pointed out that the Time Defenders EOS will let them dive into new and better projects. Even though the game seemed promising, it needed more polishing to make it better.
Vespa has laid out the schedule for winding the game down. They’re stopping in-app purchases and downloads on March 4. They’ll roll out refunds beginning March 5, and the official Time Defenders EOS will be on March 29. Also, the game’s official community and customer service will stop on April 4, 2024.
One of the other reasons Time Defenders EOS has been announced might be because the difficulty in the later stages and special events got super tough. Also, when the game was still new, it nudged players towards spending money with its P2W setup, requiring in-game gems for character levelling later on.
In the game, you can build teams of over 70 heroes to battle against evil. What sets the game apart are the options to tweak your heroes’ skills and team combos. It’s a strategy game and draws parallels with Arknights.
Well, if you haven’t played it yet and want to give it a try, head to the Google Play Store. Or, you could check out other games by Vespa. While one game is winding down, another one is in the works. Check out The Expansion Of The Sword Of Convallaria Is The Latest Update For The Fantasy RPG.
