Project Mugen is an upcoming gacha game developed by Naked Rain. In a new «disclosure of production information» trailer, we looked at the next monstrous timesink gunning for Genshin Impact's crown.
The team at Naked Rain utilise technology that procedurally generates city environments, allowing for the development of a massive urban sprawl. Mobility and freedom are core tenets of Mugen's design ethos, and traversal looks incredible, with movements like swinging, grappling, swimming, riding, and driving all part of a single intuitive system.
Indoor areas are seamlessly integrated into the open world, and players can utilise (or vandalise) almost any object encountered. There's no release date on this one yet, but judging by what's already been shown, whenever this does, it's gonna hit big.
