Everything We Know About Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 2
Players were under the impression that Hardcore characters would not be benefiting from any of the new changes to renown, such as the decreased time spent regaining renown each season and renown rewards being persistent across seasons. Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher put out a post on Twitter recently to address the concerns and confirm that the changes will apply to Hardcore characters as well:
This means with the new changes, Hardcore characters will be gaining renown faster and have their renown rewards persist to subsequent seasons of Diablo 4.
However, just as last time, if your Hardcore character dies before the season ends, their progress for activating Altars of Lilith and uncovering the map will not transfer over to the next season. So make sure to be extra careful while exploring Sanctuary!
