Unreal Engine 5 released on April 5 as the world's most open and advanced real-time 3D creation tool. One of the revolutionary features of Unreal Engine 5 is Nanite, a virtualized micro polygon geometry system. Nanite allows game developers to import highly detailed photographs to create immersive and realistic content. Additionally, Unreal Engine 5 includes Lumen, a brand-new illumination system that immediately reacts to changes in scenes and light sources. Lumen takes charge of light reflections and shadows for a more realistic approach similar to ray tracing.

Project M is a new interactive movie game project in development at NCSOFT. Featuring a variety of stories influenced by choice, the game's various endings are ultimately determined by the player. In addition, it provides a glimpse into the story of a man seeking vengeance for the death of his lover. With Unreal Engine 5, NCSOFT is able to showcase realistic textures, photorealistic graphics, and enhanced character expressions being utilized in Project M.
