Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was announced at the PlayStation Showcase event in September 2021. This bundle includes remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and is scheduled to release on PS5 on January 28, 2022.
The Legacy of Thieves Collection is also set to launch on PC later this year and the port is being handled by Iron Galaxy. This collection marks Uncharted’s debut on PC, although the original trilogy remains exclusive to PlayStation consoles. Sony has been releasing older PS4 games on PC, allowing a brand-new set of players to experience marquee PlayStation exclusives. A new trailer for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has just been uploaded on YouTube, featuring gameplay footage from the PS5 remasters.
The launch trailer for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection consists of a mix of gameplay and in-game cinematics. It aims to set up the story for both games and also shows footage from the thrilling set-pieces. Some parts of the trailer can spoil important sections from these games, so users planning to play them for the first time should consider avoiding it.
Anyone who owns either Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be able to upgrade to the Legacy of Thieves Collection for $10. Both physical, as well as digital versions, are eligible for this offer. Unfortunately, the Legacy of Thieves Collection does not come with the multiplayer component of Uncharted 4.
Users can also choose between various graphical modes on PS5. Fidelity Mode will run at native 4K with a 30fps target, while Performance Mode will run 60fps, with the image being upscaled from a base resolution of 1440p. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection also comes
