Lionsgate announces an official Blu-ray release date for The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, its adventure-comedy film starring Nicolas Cage. Cage plays himself in the film, or a version of himself who is creatively unfulfilled and in a lot of debt. Because of this, he accepts a million-dollar job to attend the birthday of a superfan (Pedro Pascal). From there, the film only gets more outrageous.
Now Lionsgate reveals that the film will be available digitally on June 7. It will also be available in a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital), a Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and Digital), DVD, and On-Demand on June 21. There are several special features included in the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital versions such as deleted scenes, interviews with Cage, and behind-the-scenes looks at how the stunts and special effects were filmed to name a few. The DVD versions that fans can own also comes with deleted scenes and a Q&A with the cast and filmmakers at SXSW among other features.

The film is currently playing in theaters, so luckily viewers won't have to wait long to purchase it if they miss it on the big screen. The 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $42.99, $39.99, and $29.96, respectively. For those already familiar with the film, but craving even more content from the creatives behind it and from Cage himself, Christmas may come early for them once The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is available to purchase.
